Privacy Policy

Account data we collect

Your email address, a username, an optional display name, avatar and bio, and your password (stored only as a hash by our authentication provider). We do not collect a date of birth, government ID or any real financial account details.

Age and consent record

When you confirm you are at least 13 and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, we store a confirmation flag, the time of acceptance and which document version you accepted. Nothing more.

Simulated trading data

Virtual orders, trades, positions, balances, equity snapshots, challenge entries and chart markers (educational stop-loss / take-profit levels). This data describes simulated activity only and never represents real holdings.

Education and progress data

Lesson completions, quiz scores and attempts, XP, level, streaks and achievements, so your progress and leaderboard position can be shown to you.

Classroom data

If you join a class we store your class membership, your class alias, your class simulated account and your class results (assignment submissions, quiz attempts, challenge entries and class scores).

Your teacher can see the class alias, class scores and assignment/quiz results for their own class only. Teachers can hide student names on class leaderboards. Other students see only what the class leaderboard shows.

Teachers see class data; they do not see your solo practice account, your billing details or your account password.

Payment data and Stripe

Paid plans are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Card numbers are entered with Stripe and are never sent to or stored by Market Mind.

Market Mind stores only subscription metadata returned by Stripe: plan key, subscription status, billing interval, period dates, cancellation flag and the Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, so we know which features your account should have.

Stripe processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

Creator and referral codes

If you sign up with a creator or referral code, we store the code, the plan and the commission amount so the creator can be credited. This record is used for attribution and reporting only.

AI feature data

When you use the AI coach or AI tutor, your message plus limited context about your simulated account, trades or lesson is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Do not put personal or sensitive information into AI chats.

AI providers process this data to return a response; Market Mind does not use your AI conversations to train models. AI output can be wrong and is educational only. AI features never modify quiz answers, scores or grading.

Market data

Prices come from a licensed market-data provider and may be real-time or delayed. Market data is cached on our servers and shared across users; requests for prices are not tied to your identity in that cache.

Technical and security data

Standard server and authentication logs (such as request time, error details and sign-in events) used to keep the platform running and secure, plus a session token stored in your browser so you stay signed in.

How we use your data

To run your practice account, show leaderboards and class progress, deliver lessons, provide AI feedback on simulated trades, manage subscriptions and feature access, support you, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your data and we do not run behavioural advertising.

Who we share data with

Our infrastructure and database provider, our authentication provider, our market-data provider, our AI provider and Stripe for payments — each only to the extent needed to provide their part of the service. We also share data where the law requires it.

Data retention

Account, simulated trading, education and classroom data is kept while your account is active. Subscription and payment records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. If your account is deleted, its personal data is removed and any remaining class records are de-identified.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile at any time, leave a class, cancel a subscription in settings, and ask us to delete your account and its simulated data. You can request a copy of your data. Contact support@proptradepractice.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

Market Mind is not intended for children under 13 and accounts are removed if we learn the user is under 13. Where a school uses Market Mind with students, the school is responsible for obtaining any parental permission its policies require.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the version marker below changes and you may be asked to accept the current version the next time you sign in.
