Terms of Service
Version 2026-08-24
Plain-language summary: Market Mind is a simulated trading and education platform for ages 13+. Every balance and trade is virtual, Market Mind does not execute real trades, virtual money cannot be withdrawn, and AI features can be wrong.
Development note: these terms are written in plain language by the Market Mind team and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They should be reviewed by a qualified adult/legal professional before accepting public paid subscriptions.
1. Eligibility
Market Mind is open to individuals who can form a binding agreement where they live, or who use Market Mind with the permission of a parent, guardian or teacher. Market Mind is a learning tool, not a financial service.
2. Age requirement (13+)
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Market Mind account, and you confirm your age when you sign up. This is an access rule, not identity verification. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, access to that account is removed.
3. Account creation
You provide an email address, a username and a password. Keep your credentials private. One person per account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
4. Simulated trading
All trading on Market Mind is simulated. Orders are filled by Market Mind's own engine against the most recent confirmed market price from our data provider. Nothing you do on Market Mind places an order in a real market.
5. No real-money trading
Market Mind is not a broker-dealer, exchange, investment adviser or prop firm. Market Mind does not accept deposits, does not process withdrawals, does not hold customer funds and does not route orders anywhere. Market Mind never provides real trading capital.
6. Virtual balances have no cash value
Virtual balances, simulated profits, XP, levels, badges and leaderboard positions have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed, transferred, sold or withdrawn, and may be reset or adjusted for maintenance, fairness or classroom use.
7. Educational purpose
Lessons, quizzes, challenges, leaderboards, analytics and AI feedback are educational content. Nothing on Market Mind is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security or asset.
8. AI limitations
AI features can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. AI does not predict and cannot guarantee future market movements. Do not treat AI output as advice, and always check it against the underlying data. AI grading and explanations do not change stored quiz answers or scores; grading happens server-side against fixed answer keys.
9. User responsibilities
Provide accurate signup information, keep your account secure, and use Market Mind in a way that does not harm other learners. If you are in a class, follow your teacher's instructions for the class.
10. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass access rules or paywalls, scrape or resell market data, automate abusive traffic, manipulate leaderboards, impersonate others, upload harassing or illegal content, or interfere with other users' practice accounts.
11. Subscription plans
Market Mind offers a free plan and paid plans (Standard, Elite, Classroom, Classroom Elite). Paid plans unlock software features and educational access only. A subscription is never converted into virtual capital and is never added to a simulated balance.
12. Automatic renewal
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected) and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. We will attempt to notify you of price changes before they take effect.
13. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges; access to paid features continues until the end of the period you already paid for, after which the account returns to the free plan. Your data is not deleted by cancelling.
14. Free trials
If a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial length and eligibility are shown at signup. One trial per person unless stated otherwise.
15. Refunds
Refund handling is described on the pricing page and in the account settings, and any refund is issued through the payment processor that took the original payment. Where local consumer law gives you a refund or withdrawal right, that law applies.
16. Creator and referral codes
Creator/referral codes may be applied at signup to attribute a subscription to a creator. Codes may be limited to one use per account, may expire and may be withdrawn. Referral records exist for attribution and reporting; they do not move money inside Market Mind and do not create virtual balance for anyone.
17. Classroom accounts
A class is created by a teacher and joined by students with a join code. Class accounts use a separate simulated balance configured by the teacher and are kept independent of a student's solo practice account.
18. Teacher responsibilities
Teachers are responsible for having the appropriate permission to use Market Mind with their students, for sharing join codes only with the intended class, for the assignments and challenges they create, and for following their school's policies. Teachers can see class aliases, class scores, assignment and quiz results for their own class only.
19. Student access
Students join teacher-created classes at no cost. A student's class data is visible to that class's teacher. Teachers may hide student names on class leaderboards. Students may leave a class; class results stay with the class record.
20. Intellectual property
Market Mind's lessons, software, design and branding belong to Market Mind or its licensors and are for your personal (or classroom) learning use only. Market data belongs to the data provider and may not be redistributed. Content you post remains yours, and you give Market Mind permission to display it inside the platform.
21. Service availability
Market Mind is provided as-is and may be unavailable for maintenance, provider outages or rate limits. When market data cannot be confirmed, simulated orders are paused rather than filled at an invented price. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
22. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, abuses the platform, or belongs to someone under 13. You can stop using Market Mind at any time and ask us to remove your account and its simulated data.
23. Changes to the service
Features, plans, limits, lesson content and simulated market behaviour can change as Market Mind develops. We may add, alter or retire features, including features on a paid plan; where a change materially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel.
24. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the version marker at the top of this page changes and you may be asked to accept the current version the next time you sign in. Continuing to use Market Mind after acceptance means you agree to the updated terms.
25. Contact and support
Questions, account deletion requests, classroom questions and billing questions can be sent to support@proptradepractice.com. We answer during normal working hours.
